Terms and Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all orders placed through the Breath Of Time gallery by Sebastien D.
Last updated: 11 April 2026
1. Seller Identification
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are concluded with:
AEON Project ~ Sébastien Demoucelle
Sole proprietor
Address: Parc des Saules 18/3, 1300 Wavre, Belgium
Company / VAT number: BE0755882891
E-mail: info@aeon-project.dev
2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of photographic canvas prints offered by AEON Project.
3. Products
The products sold are photographic prints on canvas.
Each artwork is:
- Produced in a limited edition
- Signed and numbered
The visuals shown are as accurate as possible, but may present slight differences (particularly in colors) depending on the screens used.
Some presentation images showing the canvases in an environment (interior, decoration, staging) are generated using artificial intelligence tools.
These visuals are intended to illustrate the potential appearance of the artworks and are provided for indicative purposes only. They do not constitute a contractual representation.
As a result, differences may exist between the presentation visuals and the delivered product, particularly regarding:
- Dimensions and proportions in a given environment
- Colors and contrasts
- Final rendering depending on the print medium
The customer is invited to refer to the precise characteristics indicated on the product page in order to know the exact dimensions and specifications of each artwork.
Artworks are offered for sale subject to available stock and the number of copies planned for the relevant limited edition. Information shown on the website (including remaining stock or edition count per format) reflects the status known at the time of viewing and may still change until the order has been definitively accepted in accordance with the section on payment.
Notwithstanding the checks carried out, the following situations may exceptionally arise:
- the relevant edition or format is sold out (limited edition fully allocated);
- a production incident or defect prevents the order from being manufactured or shipped in a conforming manner;
- the product becomes unavailable after payment has been confirmed but before dispatch (stock error, force majeure, or other cause beyond the customer's control).
The seller will inform the customer without undue delay, by e-mail or any other appropriate contact method. Where feasible and with the customer's express agreement, an alternative solution may be proposed (for example another format of the same artwork or another available artwork, subject to actual availability). Failing agreement on such a solution, the relevant order is cancelled and any amount already paid is refunded in full, at no extra cost to the customer, within the timeframes and according to the procedures of the payment service provider and, where applicable, applicable legal requirements.
4. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT included).
AEON Project reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of the order.
5. Order, contract formation and payment
The order is placed on the website: the customer selects the desired artworks and formats, completes the cart, enters delivery details and, where applicable, billing details, accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale, and confirms the order. The customer is then redirected to the payment service provider's secure payment page. Until payment has been successfully completed, the order is not definitively accepted.
The seller's definitive acceptance of the order occurs when payment is confirmed as having been received in full and validated by the payment service provider. Until that confirmation, the seller may refuse the order or decline to fulfil it in the event of unavailability, an anomaly, or any legitimate reason.
The contract of sale between the customer and AEON Project is formed at the moment of that payment confirmation. The parties' rights and obligations then apply in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
A confirmation e-mail summarising the essential elements of the order is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer after payment is confirmed. It serves as an acknowledgement and records the content of the order, without prejudice to technical records held by the seller and the payment service provider.
An order confirmation and/or invoice may be sent to the customer by e-mail, at the address provided when placing the order, in accordance with applicable legal and accounting requirements.
Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
Accepted payment methods are:
Bancontact
Belfius
PayPal
Visa
MasterCard
American Express
The order is validated only after full payment has been received.
Payments are processed securely by Mollie.
6. Delivery
Products are delivered in Belgium only.
- Carrier: BPost
- Estimated delivery time: up to 20 business days
- Shipping costs: free
Delivery times are provided for information purposes only. In the event of an unusual delay or delivery difficulty, the customer is invited to contact the seller so that an appropriate solution may be sought.
The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer when they, or a third party designated by them, take physical possession of the goods.
Each shipment is prepared with care and uses protective, reinforced packaging suited to canvas artworks, in order to reduce the risk of damage in transit.
The authenticity of each print in the limited edition is evidenced by the hand-written signature and numbering on the back of the canvas. Where indicated on the product page or in a communication from the seller, a separate certificate of authenticity may accompany the artwork.
After payment is confirmed, the customer receives an order summary e-mail. For any question about an order in progress, the customer may contact the seller using the details on the website (Contact page). After-sales (customer service) enquiries are generally answered within an indicative 24 to 72 hours on business days, depending on workload and complexity.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
In accordance with the Code of Economic Law, the consumer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, except where applicable legal exceptions apply.
To exercise this right, the consumer informs AEON Project of their decision by means of a clear and unequivocal statement (post or e-mail to info@aeon-project.dev), stating in particular their name, contact details and, where possible, the order number. Dispatch of this statement before expiry of the 14-day period is sufficient to meet the deadline.
After that notification, the goods must be returned or handed over to the following address: AEON Project — Sébastien Demoucelle, Parc des Saules 18/3, 1300 Wavre, Belgium, unless the seller communicates different instructions.
The consumer returns the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which they communicated their decision to withdraw.
Unless the seller expressly agrees otherwise, the direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the consumer.
On return, the product must be sent in a condition that allows the seller to verify it and, where applicable, to offer it for sale again. It must be protected by packaging suitable for shipping canvas artworks. Where reasonably possible, it must be accompanied by all items supplied with the delivery (packaging or protective materials, certificate, document or mark of authenticity, accessories). A return that is poorly packed, incomplete, damaged due to insufficient protection, or missing authenticity items supplied with the order may reduce the amount refunded, within the limit of any loss in value of the goods and in accordance with applicable law.
AEON Project refunds all payments received from the consumer, including any initial delivery charges where those were paid, using the same means of payment as for the original transaction, no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which it is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, AEON Project may withhold reimbursement until it has received the returned goods or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having dispatched the goods, whichever is the earliest.
In the event of visible damage or damage upon delivery, the customer is invited to contact the seller as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, attaching photographs.
8. Legal warranty of conformity
The seller remains bound by the legal warranty of conformity applicable to consumer goods, in accordance with the applicable provisions of Belgian and European law.
The customer may notify the seller of any lack of conformity, including in particular:
- a reference error (work, format, edition or numbering not matching the order);
- a visible defect apparent on delivery;
- a manufacturing or material defect;
- a product that does not conform to the order (description, characteristics or quantity).
9. Liability
AEON Project shall not be held liable for:
- Improper use of the product
- Indirect damages related to the purchase
Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, the seller's liability is limited to the amount of the order.
10. Intellectual Property
All photographs remain the exclusive property of AEON Project.
Any reproduction, use, or distribution without authorization is strictly prohibited.
11. Personal Data
The information collected during the order is necessary for its processing.
Certain data may be shared with technical or logistics service providers strictly necessary for the fulfilment of the order, including payment providers and carriers.
For further information, please consult the Privacy Policy.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to reach an amicable settlement before initiating any legal proceedings.
Failing an amicable settlement, the competent courts shall be determined in accordance with the applicable law.
13. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale
Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
